The burning question is, can this be done?

Many people I've ask about this matter, tells me that I have to upgrade from Tiger 10.4 to Lepoard 10.5, then to Snow Lepoard 10.6.

When I check with Apple Support locally, they say that I need to get the full version which cost about S$200/- plus.

Well, I've manage to upgrade from Tiger 10.4 to Snow Lepoard 10.6 by using the retail version of Snow Lepoard.

Therefore, the answer is yes! MAC OS 10.4 Tiger can be directly upgraded to MAC OS 10.6 using just the retail DVD which cost only S$48/-
